A beautiful sendoff

I love goodbyes.

Well, let me clarify. I love when all pieces of a puzzle come together in a nice tidy little package, starting with a solid introduction, a middle and a lovely farewell. I love movie-style goodbyes. You know, the ones you can picture a soundtrack to and people move in slow motion. Turning over their shoulder for a slow wave, white teeth twinkling in the sunlight, before they walk away into whatever the future holds for them. Sigh. I could watch movie-style goodbyes all the day long. However, this mounting stack of to-dos states otherwise. ;-) In turn, I settle for looking for unique or touching goodbyes in everyday life. I’m a sucker for wrapping up a late-afternoon photo session with some romantic sun flare and far-away pose. I like my dinner to be rounded up with a light and beautiful dessert. {Yes. I can relate anything to dessert. Especially if it’s of the baked variety.} I strive to read books that have an actual ending instead of just an end. Such is life.

This morning I awoke with a new-found sense of needing some Internet wedding love. I’ve got a wedding coming up this Saturday and am so excited to get back in the swing of things, I can hardly stand it! As I went through my favorite blogs and articles, I became giddy over the wedding goodbye. This includes the walk down the aisle and the actual leaving of the reception–two very different pieces of the wedding day that can culminate into a beautiful photo op as well as a meaningful {and ‘theme’-keeping} part of your wedding day.

Sparklers make a fabulous send off and are so fun in photos, to boot! Note of caution, though, they are hot and can burn!! {Kissing photo, Sparkler photo}

Have a great sense of humor and an up-beat, playful wedding theme? Use hand clappers in your wedding colors for guests to laughingly see you off! {Photo}

How fun and festive are these wedding poppers? You can purchase them in wedding colors, with a saying or even your faces printed on them–awesome!! {Kissing photo, popper photo}
